This is a breath of fresh air, no doubt
Instead of a righteous lawyer who defends the victim. The mc is playing the role of a lawyer, whose role is only to defend their client and not see whether there is a "good" side or "bad" side. Due to this, it makes sense why the abusers would use him, as he is a good lawyer who tries his best not to judge them, he only tries to do his job. He knows that he is shitty by doing this. However the excuse he uses is essentially in his field of work, you cannot use morality as your compass. The world does not work like that.
Overall, while i do not really like the mc and how he knows that his actions of helping abusers of law get more lenient sentences. I can understand why some people would really like this. This type of genre has been riddled with mcs who put their values ahead of their job. Whereas here, its the opposite, which is a breath of fresh air.
I need to read more chapters as there seems to only be 3 chapters that are fully translated so far. But honestly, if this manga seems up your alley, go read it
