Description

I couldn't get into it, my suspension of disbelief is not strong enough to immerse myself in this story. A magical fairy creature to create a fiction without the author actually stringing something together to create a remotely constructive and cohesive plotline? Did the author already get writer's block and had to resort to using the fairy as a convenience to create character motivation and bring two characters together out of thin air just to satisfy the romcom status quo? Some may consider this to be quintessential lazy writing...
The mangaka's use of references like drawing one of the infamous faces from Kuso Miso Technique in volume 2 on page 66 are distracting to say the least. You might get more enjoyment from playing the "what's that reference" game instead of paying attention to what little story there is.
I don't have much to comment on the art except that it is too simplistic and amateurish, but it originally started as a web series, so it's excusable?

watched it on a whim and was positively surprised. the character relationships are amazing and the harem aspect of the story doesn't stifle you with the relationship battles of usual harems since everyone just has this genuine appreciation and want for MC to be happy and vice versa. it's kind of like 100 girlfriends who really love you if the characters weren't in a polycule
*I am going off of the anime since I can't find any translations of the manga beyond the first chapter, so I may be wrong about some things for people who have access to the raws.
I really liked this plot- I am always a sucker for stories where the male harem members have to try to make the FL love them back, and usually the best way to prolong that is through making said FL oblivious. However, here, we have the FL deliberately refusing to buy into the romantic tropes she easily identifies, and the comedy comes instead from her antics in response to the tropes. Of course, the genuine love the harem members have/develop for the FL doesn't hurt, either! All in all, if you like "My Next Life as a Villainess" or "Maid-Sama," I think you'll like this. And if you, too, can't find the manga in English, try out the anime on Netflix!
