The story takes place in a small village at the end of the world. In that village, there is an ancient ceremony called “God-marriage,” in which the village is protected from natural disasters by offering a “bride” to the god of the land. Yuga, a young dancer in the village who has never known the love of his parents, is chosen as the “bride” even though he is a man because he possesses the “purple jade eyes,” a condition for a bride, and is forced into a bond with the god. Yuga plans to escape from the god, but the god loves Yuga excessively...?
