The art is borderline good, and the characters aren't half-bad, but the plot tries so hard to keep the reader in the dark it fails to step out and do something interesting. Furthermore, it seems like the author couldn't bring themselves to have the antagonist really be an antagonist, and couldn't let consequences be consequences... not that I dislike the ending, but that's only because the consequences felt like they didn't need to exist in the first place.

Quite boring, to be honest. I'll give it a 4.9 for at least being a consistent story that isn't horrible. I can't say it's bad enough to be a 4, but I really wanted just a bit more before I'll call this average.

Another isekai, whopee. An MC that started out kinda funny but now is just plain dumb, and female side characters that are as 2 dimension in personality as the medium they are drawn on. Just walking tropes, you got the two faced snarker, the tsundere musclehead and the weirdo clingy girl. Honestly a quarter of the chapters does nothing to explain the plot, just pseudo mysterious babble to imply something greater in store for the hero without actually explaining anything.
