Description

Satoki Houma is an imaginative girl who enjoys shoujo manga. She has long comes to terms with the fact she will never be the type of girl that is the heroine of a manga -- purely because she isn't pretty, and she has decided she prefers to watch events unfold rather that get involved in any case. However, in the perfect shoujo manga twist, one day she gets dragged to an alternate world where the people have summoned a Holy Maiden to save them...!

Except so did her classmate, Haruka Toudou, who fits the exact model of a Shoujo Protagonist. Naturally, Satoki is overlooked for Haruka... except it’s not Haruka who has the powers of the Holy Maiden they wished for. What will Satoki do!?

Actually a really interesting concept, it's a shame it couldn't be developed more, it would be great if possibly a more experienced or better story teller could grasp this concept and work with it because it could make for an excellent series. Left me feeling a tad bit disappointed in all honesty.

Only manga ever that I wish was longer. Oh well...

It was nice, I loved the main character (Satoki) and how she reacted and acted, I could relate with her as I think that if I was in a similar situation like hers, I would've been the same! I loved Luce too. Only two characters that I liked. Oh! And Obdima was funny.

Anyway, as I said, it was nice, but it was also really short. I feel it had so much more potential, so many other scenarios that it could portray, like a showdown between Obdima and Satoki, or they becoming these competitive friends/rivals of sorts? Their scenes together were funny AND amazing, tbh. The manga could have shown us more of Luce and Satoki's friendship, more scenes to deepen their bond. And what if Satoki and Luce escaped the castle and went out in the world to travel and work as bounty hunters...? That would have been amazing!! They, working together and helping people along the way.

Anyway, again, as I said, it had so much potential and so much room for more scenarios, but... Author decided to end it like this at this time. Yikes.

The ending was rushed, but I'm satisfied, I think. I mean, it could've been a worse ending, right? But it wasn't. It was a sort of good ending, so it was okay... I guess.

Satoki, I've got your back. You're the best. I'll miss you. And Luce.

P.S. I absolutely hated how everyone (even Master/Miva) treated Satoki. Seriously, the girl has self-esteem and insecurity issues and you go and worsen it, and even when you say you're "friends"? That's no way how you treat your friends (yeah, I'm looking at you, Master/Miva). Everyone just kept disrespecting her and treating her badly just because she wasn't pretty or because she wasn't the Holy Maiden. Ugh. I hated them, they don't deserve her. I only liked Luce. This is why Luce and Satoki should just up and leave that country, go somewhere else where they are actually appreciated. Ughhhh.

It had promise but...

This manga resumes in a single line: "Making WORSE a BAD situation with every act". The premise of the manga was quite interesting and had promise but it was developed poorly. Useless or negative characters have their charm since they can go the bad way instead of becoming the "ideal character" (becoming evil or the anti hero type), but this MC just makes it worse for herself as a MC, no improvements (of any kind), and with every chapter the situation worsens for her just to make it plain ridiculous (joke intended) and annoying. When something happens to actually make the story right... the MC tries her damn best to keep it wrong, at least I can give a point because of this, it is original, a fail character that knows that she is a fail that wants to keep things failing for her (you're just playing the victim, just kill yourself please).

The manga is quite self serving, it should be IMPOSSIBLE to keep that pretense without anyone noticing that the cute girl has nothing for herself besides her face in the situation the story is in, at the most, people would start to notice that this power is UNRELIABLE when needed. How convenient that the MC is always there to help the other one keep the pretense at the PRECISE situations to regain some credibility, and this repeats constantly in every chapter (until a certain point). I only kept reading until the latest chapter because I wanted to SEE THE MC FAIL UTTERLY BEYOND HER "FAILNESS" and see completed her circle of bad and idiotic choices come back and bitch slap her in the face. She does not want stress or the agony of being a MC but ends up with stress and agony regardless, how else can you call this one but a complete idiot? And I hate idiots.

It's split between gag/serious plot. There are a lot of pokes at reverse harems, but the plot also progresses the way it would in a typical fantasy save-the-world story.

I feel pretty invested into Satoko as a character, especially with the last few chapters. She starts off as a chill, gag main character who doesn't mind being on the sideline, but in reality, no one is like that. She's just brushing it off and it comes off pretty as a funny but realistic portrayal of real life. She ends up with some power, starts thinking that maybe she could be in the spotlight because of some outside influences, but falls back to her old position. Now, the story is starting to really dig into her confidence issues as Haruka actually does have power, and there's a sweet-talking evil little prince.

Absolutely no character growth, repetitive, unsatisfying end, but worst of all it glorifies bullying. The art is okay, it’s not bad. Overall, would not read again.

The art is gorgeous and the action is also very detailed, which is quite something for a shoujo manga. While the premise is kinda original for a lost-in-a-fantasy-world manga, the thing that made me like it the most was the characters: I hated some of them while others were very endearing, somehow everyone made a lasting impact while reading. The heroine was an otaku stuck in a position she didn't want or wasn't ready for and behaved the way you'd expect her to, aka like a real loser. Her refusal to take any responsibility for herself is one of the central themes and as the story goes on you get to see her starting to grow a spine.

Unfortunately this is where the story stops. Although I wouldn't call the ending badly executed it does lack some closure. It makes you wish that you saw more of her growth and that you learnt more about the other characters as well. It is still a very appropriate ending for a heroine who was actually never the main character, but it does leave you yearning for more.

Still loved it and looking forward to the author's future works.

HARUKA is really similar to Jennette Margarita from the manwha
"Who Made Me a Princess / Suddenly become a Princess One Day" I mean Her Appearance is really like that you know And OK I hate it when she have A Reverse Harem mode on this manga the fact that she's not the Female lead its So Unfair! Just because she's the pretty one? And not the Real FL Big Discrimination but when I think about it oh yeah the Haruka(Similar to Jennette)+Selfish dudes =Disgusting Reverse Harem of all time . And you know what guys I'm totally Disappointed too About The Characters on this manga because All of them is a living Selfish Unicorns Except for Satoki of course I want to award her for being the Only one who is Not Selfish On this Story... But Actually I'm disappointed on her too it is because yeah she is that kind of funny Female lead but when How she feelss about her self is really negative. Girl can you Please love your self first before others? It hurts the way they treated her When I read this manga I'm hoping for the Female lead at least to have a happy ending with the only person who can really appreciate her but in the end (Me: Disappointed)

P.S:This is the only manga with Isekai Female lead I read where almost no not almost ALL of the Characters are really Selfish except for that stupid but funny female lead. And oh by the way The art of this manga is the Only Great.

It's not a gag manga...

It has some promising premises, and start strongly, but the MC's character is so out and over the top (and also very unbelievable, there is no way some one behave like her) that it took me out of the story.

It has some comedies, but it's not a gag manga, so the MC is either incredibly stupid or is just that ego centric, that she prefer to bet the war outcome just because she doesn't want to be embarrassed. Even a little kid would know to seek for authority when there is trouble, but NO, not her, she would rather fix it on her own even though there is a chance that the whole country will burn.
