Suzu is a university student who has started living alone in the flat where her family used to live after her parents remarried.
At first, Suzu is optimistic about her life, saying that it is "easy", but gradually she starts to feel lonely.
Suzu's heart is comforted by her landlord Kuta and her little brother Towa, who live downstairs.
Spending happy days with her brothers brings a smile back to Suzu's face.
