CJM... never disappoints.

CJ Michalski is by far my favorite mangaka when it comes to boysmut. No one can compare to the cuteness of her boys, the radiance of their faces, or the seme's expressions of "I am soooo going to eat every last bite of you starting in 3 seconds". This oneshot, though, is a different beast. Or, well, reptile, entirely. Those elements aren't present to such a degree, and instead, what you find is CJ's more comic side shining through (the same humorous personality of hers that once said that once claimed she was 14-year-old Russian boy).

If this is the only CJM work you've read, don't be turned off. Read something else before you decide that you don't like the mangaka. She is utterly fabulous. My recommendations: Mae yori mo Dare yori mo and Kowarekake no Omocha (A Toy with Sadness). Tanutan is another of my personal favorites.

i must be differently humoured, because i thought there was one funny thing in there, and that wasn't nearly enough to save it. indeed, not even the art is good -- which usually is a reliable plus for michalski.

See, now this isn't usually my kind of manga but it sounded so funny I thought I'd give it a go. This thing is now a running joke between my friends. If you are looking for fap material, a plot, or good art, look elsewhere. If you are looking for laughs, I can't think of anything better.
