4 Volumes (Complete)

This manga starts out with a strong premise. Is the hero still worth anything after he defeats the demon lord and can somone love him for "him" and not his title as the "Hero"? The last time I saw the concept of the "Hero" explored in such a way was in I Was Kicked out of the Hero’s Party Because I Wasn’t a True Companion so I Decided to Have a Slow Life at the Frontier. However, don't go into this manga expecting anything too deep.
The plot follows an episodic formant with our MC the Hero meeting a new marriage candidate and we see how their relationship plays out over one or two chapters. Rinse and repeat. The person that the Mc ends up with is fairly obvious from early on. So the reveal doesn't have much impact. However, there is a small twist that
stops it from going full Oreimo. She isn't related by blood (Woo Hoo) . I do not see the appeal of those kinds of relationships, so I was happy for the way out.
You can tell that the author was told that he had to wrap up the story so the ending feels a little rushed. But on the brightside, this is a quick read. You can binge all 15 chapters in 1 sitting. The art is nice. The individual storys are alright. The characters are likable and the ending is nice. It's nothing revoloanaty or epic, this is a rom-com gag manga.
7.5/10 ~An alright read if you have some free time.
Tbh right from the start I somewhat expected that end so it didn't really bother me and it kinda goes with the theme of wanting someone to see you for you without the labels (Though I was cheering for at least one of the other girls >.<😉. All things considered the plot was always gonna die as soon as he finds his wife so I guess you kinda half expect a rushed ending at some point.
The start of the manga is good but the last two chapters completely ruins the manga as a whole, so do yourself a favour and stop at chapter 13.
It is good manga with a good plot. I liked almost all the female mc and even liked the end. However the so called hero really was a waste. With the exception of one girl that was trying to trick him all of them he could marry and have a real relationship. Be it because of his strength or social position or even his relationship with then he could marry any of them. however he give up again and again.
There weren't any real obstacles to the mc relationship except himself so even with a great plot and good drawing i can't give a hight rating since the mc was a waste.
I enjoyed the premise of this awkward hero struggling to hide their identity and to find someone to love. Some of the individual stories were also quite good, but I wasn't entirely happy with the overall flow of the story. While the manga was apparently axed, it's not really noticeable (except that the girls from earlier stories don't reappear), and the ending in itself is completely fine. But overall, the story is also pretty unexceptional.
Having read to ch09 I'm not reading this any further they were perfect
I'm glad you were axed at ch15
i'll give you an 8 because of the earlier chapters. So easily could have been a 10...
This manga caught me COMPLETELY off guard!
I thought it was going to be another generic harem manga by the looks of it, and boy, oh boy! How wrong was i?!
At first glance you think it will be a gag manga with ecchi going all over the pages, but then, nothing of the sort happens, and when i got to the last 2~3 pages of the first chapter, i got this chill down my spine, making me think that there was WAY more to it than i tought!
Then i kept reading and noticed, from a funny lighthearted manga, it got serious in a blink of an eye!
And now, after i caught up with the latest release (6th chapter) i am SOOOO GLAD that i gave this manga a chance!
It might look like a funny/gag manga at first glance, but it actually has a super serious tone underneath it! The struggles of the hero to better himself and the characters that he meets and their situations, the pacing of the story... This manga is sooo good!
If you look at my profile, you'll notice that i've read a LOT of mangas (and this list is outdated, since i've been reading manga way before discovering Baka-updates), but this is the first time that i felt i should share my tought and recommend a manga, and yes, this is my first comment on Baka-Updates after years of using it! This is how much i enjoyed reading this manga.
PS: Sorry for my broken english :X
