All the characters and problems are so utterly boring and predictable. Like jesus, every is so one dimensional that i can predict 99% of all conflicts and how they will end.
It always goes like this...

Enemy is arrogant > MC is arrogant back > Enemy tries forcing him into submission or call in his stronger family or whatever > MC instantly wins or shows his family and instantly win > Enemy becomes ultra pathethic > MC kills them. Rinse and repeat.

Im so tired of every character going.

"FEEL THE POWER OF MY 3000 YEAR OLD NOODLE SLAP OF THE 7TH LOCUS FORM THAT CAN KILL EVEN GOD"
and the MC just slaps it away like nothing. and done.

Everyone is cocky and arrogant and look down on everything. So does the MC but its framed like he only does it when they do it first.

PLEASE., any form of character development i beg of you.

I CANT TELL THE people appart anymore, i have seen so many "masters" that are just the same guy with a different color shirt or hair. It utterly boring how everything goes. If you suffer from Insomnia i can highly recommend it tho, knocks me out with how bland it is.

Yeah no hate to the author or anything but this types of stories need to have some interesting concept or details otherwise they just fail. And him being a previous immortal or whatever (still dont know the difference as everyone seems to call themselves that or something)

This is the most well-executed of the countless modern/urban cultivation face slapping manhuas. The arrogant bad guys underestimate him, and he makes them all pay, oftentimes completely massacring them. There's nothing new or special about it, but it's satisfying and the art is great. The story also ties to his family very well.

Another dumb story that start with the disciple and allies betraying the emperor BEFORE they get what they need and, of course, he prefers to die before giving it... why can't one writer even think this through?
Other than that, it's a rather lame urban cultivation story with all the bads that come from this terrible combination with 99% suck rate. Oh, don't forget the dumb humor.
I even expect it to follow all the previous stories without bothering to change a single thing: betrayal, return to earth, get OP in no time, a conveniently thot of a girlfriend breaks with him or tries to swindle him, some sort of revenge plot, he gain the support of a powerhouse in his city, search for treasures with qi/spirit/energy/etc, lots of pointless face-slaps and an equal amount of ridiculous adulation, and so on and so forth. This is not a spoiler, this is just the recount of what happens in pretty much any urban cultivation manhua, see if it fits, I dropped this crap.
I should have learned my lesson not to touch this genre combination anymore... I have only myself to blame really... but it never ceases to amaze me that this manhuas ought to be trendy in China for there to be so many of them.
