When she wakes up, Mila immediately notices that she has been inexplicably transported to the year 1940, during the time when the Dutch Colony was reigning supreme in Batavia. Confronted with this perplexing predicament, Mila is compelled to find a way to return to her own time. The story was consistent and fleshed out and didn't rely on any tropes. I also liked the historical/colonial aspect that was incorporated into the story and the dynamic of the characters. The characters were all important and had just enough depth for their role, nothing was too much or lacking. I'm usually not into the mystery-horror genre but this was unexpectedly good in a way that makes me a bit more open to stories like these, though this is more like a psychothriller if anything. A solid 10.

One of my first Indonesian webtoons ever and what a great introduction it was. It's a bravo thriller genre with a psychological twist. It's a shame that the villain is so damn gorgeous; the terrified and scary expressions depicted on their faces are bone chilling...the artwork speaks volumes. SPOILER -
Mila's grandpa has a crazy twin named Vincent. He's the one going around town murdering people.
The art is beautiful and I love the sprinkle of colonial facts that the creator weaved in. This is an incredible attention grabber. Do give it a try! I'm only at chapter 11 right now, but I'm so excited to see what's in store for us.
