A fantasy land now has peace and cohabitation between all races, so battles between 'good' races and 'bad' races has been turned into a harmless sport. We have these pro athletes often treat each other with respect. (Though public sentiment seems more on the side of the 'good' races when it comes to the games. Unsure if that bleeds over into everyday life)

Our main character and his bff are two of the greatest in the world.

I'm concerned that this series will run into problems due to just how powerful our main character is. He has great debuff magic but on top of that he's given an item early on that is incredibly OP when you think about it.

And I feel like the rules of the game need to be better defined as to why he can't just sit at the second or so floor and wipe everyone out.
There are a couple other world-building problems: why is the Demon King Castle one that no has reached the final floor for? Couldn't the no. 1 team beat the 10th floor and reach the final one? Who was the previous 10th floor leader if that was the case?
also, why did our MC avoid visibly doing spells? He says if he mumbled his chants people would be freaked out...so shout them? Or...let people be creeped out? They'd be a minority anyway and now instead the public thinks he's not doing anything, leading to mental health issues.

But yeah, this is fun, so far.

Love interest isn't great, feels a bit cliche, but nice overall?

It's a bit of a deconstruction of the "kicked out of the party" trope, in a world where the heroes versus the demon lord is basically turned into an e-sport.

Focus is more on characters and their conflicts than the world, so world building isn't a strong point, but overall it's been a refreshing read.
