Good story.

When it comes to artwork everybody has his favourite style. As for me I like real life like characters so I think the art is pretty. It's a good story and it's not cliche even with the debt thing, because the execution is different than you'd expect. Characters don't grow in a direction typical in debt stories and I like it, there's no point in repeating storylines from popular works if you want to make a name for yourself as a mangaka. And yes, the main characters are awkward but it's only natural that they are like this considering their past and family circumstances. Anyway they grow for sure. The love triangle makes it more interesting.

It's a good read so if you like stories tagged with "mature" or "adult" and if you like down to earth, believable characters don't hesitate to pick it up. Though if you expect fairytale full of bishies, with big teary eyes, you'll be disappointed, it's rather serious story. Comments below are a bit misleading.

Huge Disappointment

I had such huge expectations from this. The artwork is impressive, the dialogues, pacing of the story, facial expressions, characterization, background stories, anything and everything is just so well done. However, the actual content of the story is just meh. Even more than meh, it’s simply unpalatable. The things on which the characters should reflect, and act simply don’t happen. At all. And, you know what, if this was done in a crappy style I would still give it a 2 or 3, for the effort made, but this is just such a huge disappointment.
