Kenji, Taka, Tooru, Haru, and Tomo are five very close friends since elementary and middle school. Each dreamed of growing up, moving far away from their tiny town of Kou and doing great things. When they graduated, each moved away to college with no aspirations of moving back. However, tragedy struck Kenji’s family forcing him to return to Kou to take over his father’s tavern to support his mom and Sachi, his niece. Upon learning of his circumstances, each of his friends moved back to Kou to support Kenji. They come together every weekend as patrons of his tavern. They have all successfully become working adults, everyone except Tomo, and Haru cannot stop lecturing him about taking his life seriously. What lies behind Haru’s non-stop meddling in Tomo’s business and how will Kenji and these close friends support Haru and Tomo as their friendship begins to fall apart?
