Slice of supernatural goodness

Other than Natsume Yuujinchou, this is that only slice of life/supernatural crossover manga that I remember reading.
I am a big sucker for slice-of-life and I am happy with what this has delivered (so far - at chapter 4) so far. As alluded to by Crenshinibon, there is a slight resemblance to Totoro, but somehow what I was reminded of were the sisters of Ichigo in Bleach.

Another great example of a rare genre

The supernatural/slice-of-life hybrid isn't a genre that shows up all that often, as titles like Mushishi, Hanashippanashi, and Natsume Yuujinchou have all proven, it's usually a treat when it does. Honestly speaking, Mokke is probably on the weaker end of the pool in terms of its execution- the art isn't nearly as gorgeous as Mushishi, and the stories are scarcely as elegant, but all the same it does manage to be both pleasant and somewhat thoughtful. It's designed in an immature style in a way intended to appeal to older readers- so if you liked, say, Totoro, you might enjoy this as well, but you'll like it just as much if you liked Hyakki Yakoushou.

It's worth a shot if you either want to try out the genre or experience more of it.

If you like supernatural manga that are not about fighting, this one is a must. I think this is more 'slice-of-life' then comedy. Two young girls, living their lives and dealing with supernatural creatures. I'm very happy that this is being translated.
