There were so many loose ends. You could tell two sides were fighting but you never found out there agendas. Did one side want to rule the world, was the other side trying to stop them and save espers. You Never get the answer. It seemed like the story was half finished. Iliked the themes though.
Love it! Though

It does get repetitive in reagrds to the kidnappings and accidents.
But overall I really liked it.
I had some mixed feeling in regards to this and I had to wonder, "If the homo-social sub-text seeps into the homo-romantic (not erotic; there was no such scene) sub-text, then is this work homo-romantic more than homo-social? In fact where is this line drawn and by whom?"
In the end I believe that (working within the universe of the manga) if the characters themselves profess to love each other that crosses the platonic line then that's homo-romantic for me.
This really was an interesting read because of the female demographic but the homo subtext.

God how i hate him! he's basically like an idiotic shoujo heroine... always doing unnecessary things, trying to help but causing problems, always getting bailed out by the hero(tatsuki) but being completely dumb n fighting with him all d time..
And after being saved a bazillion times, when tatsuki gives him any advice, nooo Kotarou wont listen to it... SO IRRITATING
I really couldnt understand why Tatsuki wuz soo stuck on him...
And really!? wuts d big deal about hiding his power!! That was totally senseless!
Yuuto wuz kind of the sanest person i the manga which is pretty funny

Whoa Nostalgia much? This was the first ever manga I borrowed from a library! I really need to pick this up and read it again it's been so long. I can totally see why people thought that it was a shounen-ai, even when I read it I still got that vibe. Great manga~
not bad

I also thought it was shounen ai when I first picked it up but it's not.
It's a pretty good series... I like the characters, there are definitely some funny parts, also some sad/more serious scenes. I do agree that the plot is quite repetitive. In every volume, I'm pretty sure, Kotarou gets into some sort of trouble, Yuuto worries, and Tatsuki acts like he doesn't care but then gets hurt helping out anyway.
Actually, though, I have to disagree with a previous reviewer who basically said Kotarou sucks for the way he treats Tatsuki. I can see why that would be said but if you look at it from Kotarou's perspective, it's not his fault. Tatsuki constantly acts very cold toward him, says mean things, pushes him away, acts like he's too dirty to touch, and then he'll come help out but make it seem like he never cared to in the first place. You can see Kotarou wondering at times what his cousin's problem is and starting to think it'll be okay but then Tatsuki acts cold again. (Meanwhile, Tatsuki definitely has his reasons which you'll see when you read the series). I thought the mangaka did a good job of showing those scenes in a way that made it understandable on both their parts every time, which is what is so tragic about their situation.
The plot does get more interesting at one point and there's more going on than meets the eye in the beginning. I have some problems with other parts of the story that would be spoilers if I said what it was or why but that's why I give it at 6/10. Even so, I continued to like the characters throughout the series and it did hold my attention. It's an interesting series and has its good points.

For some reason, I could have swore this was a shounen ai title. But whatever the genre is, this series is enjoyable.

It's not a shonen-ai manga. It's mainly fanservice. This story gave me mixed feelings. It's cool the fact that the theme is about psychic and friendship. However, the main character Kotarou always got himself kidnapped somehow. A few kidnapping act every once and then is okay but for almost every chapter? Now that's infuriating. His cousin, Tatsuki, and friend, Udou, always come to his rescue. Kotarou can be such an annoying brat when he didn't appreciate Tatsuki's help even though Tatsuki practically put on his life on the line when he tried to save him. It's really frustating to see Kotarou bad-mouthed Tatsuki. Other than that, the plot holds well, from every kidnapping act, you'll get to learn more and more of Tatsuki and Kotarou relationship and problems. If you're fan of psychic or want to try something new and don't mind a pint of shonen-ai, this manga is for you

at first i thought it was shounen-ai.
the artwork is easy on the eyes, not too overwhelming, at times.
plot keeps you hooked.
