Subject matter aside, the artwork is beautiful. It's a short mysterious 1-shot. Sadly, the translation leaves much to be desired

Sorry, I just did not understand a single thing presented in this oneshot to even judge it properly. The dialogues make absolutely no sense to me, let alone the even more bizarre 'story'. I'd usually question the accuracy of the fan translation but I don't think even the most eloquent interpreter could decipher much sense out of this case.

Creepy and extremely short story about a pedophilic fox spirit and a little boy randomly wandering around at night with a bottle of sake. I would rather read about the "years later" part, but it seems this was a oneshot.

Hmmm... wasn't too bad though it was a bit short. Pretty ambiguous and mysterious too. I believe

The boy stumbled upon a spirit of the lake or perhaps, a god who was guarding a shrine. And in exchange for the kiss and a white cup for drinking alcohol from, his sake was taken away. Then again, it was obon so it could've been a ghost who died in that lake.

Agree with the previous reviewer... this starts off pretty promising as if it's a start to some event in future except said event never happens and you are left hanging with a WTF feeling in your head.. Hmm... I do wonder if there's a continuation or sequel of some sort?

Suspenseful and makes for a good read tho

I'm not sure if it's finished but the first chapter/oneshot? is rather nice. It has this sort of nostalgic veil upon it as you read and it's nothing too hilarious or serious but mysterious and well thought out enough to keep you amused.
It's loose ended though (relatively) so that's a warning.
