Short and great

A super fun reinterpretation of the Osiris Myth! It's definitely useful if you know a little bit about that and Egyptian mythology going in, but if you don't, no worries.

The author has excellent art and planned out the story very well ahead of time. They are also very obviously a huge fan of the mythology, which I always enjoy seeing for the lesser-known Gods. It's short, too, so it's not a difficult read. I would definitely recommend it.

Also about the incest tag, to be honest the original myth was far, far worse, haha.

Fantastic Work

First, a note: for those worried about the incest tag, well, it is about the ancient Egyptian gods. Like the Greek/Roman ones, yep, there's marriage between brothers and sisters. It's a part of the myths, and that's all there is to it.

Talking about the work itself now, first off, amazing art. It's clean, detailed, and very good at describing exactly what the author intended.I find myself pausing every now and then on certain panels just because of how nice the art is.

The story is well-written (as of 11 chapters in) - the pacing is good enough that you feel that the stoy is never just stalling, and each chapter reveals both new information about the mysterious circumstances that Set faces as well as the depths of the people around him. The author has clearly though of where they wanted to take this story before going ahead, and it shows in the plots foreshadowed and the imagery in her art.

As for the characters, well, they're well-written. They are more than what they seem at first, Set himself goes through character growth after his time leap back, and you can understand their individual motivations (Anything else is a spoiler.)

All in all, it's a solid story with good characters and art, with a mystery that will intrigue you. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone.
