Up until now, the author has created many heartwarming essay manga with the theme of “family.” However, there was one family member who had never appeared in any of those works — his older brother.

That brother has been a recluse, shut away in their family home for 30 years. And the one who triggered his withdrawal from society… was none other than the author himself.

While wanting nothing to do with his brother, he’s tormented daily by guilt for leaving a family member behind in a decaying home. Even after the loss of their parents, the family issues between the brothers continue endlessly — a story depicted quietly, yet vividly and raw.
