Description

Junichirou Izumi is a trap who often wears the clothes designed by his mother, who runs her own clothing brand. Junichirou is saved from a train molester one day by Yuuki Kimino, a boyish girl. The two later discover that they go to the same school.

Compared to a lot of other "trap" themed manga this has some substance. It's not just bait for shotacons.

Yuuki is an young, androgynous girl who wishes she was more feminine. She saves a young girl from a pervert on a train, only later to learn that was a boy named Junchirou. It turns out they go to the same middle school and that's where the plot begins.

There are two other characters introduced later: A tall, masculine kid named Josei who teases Yuuki and Jirou , who is a crossdresser who's madly in love with Yuuki (and acts somewhat perverted toward her at times but it's nothing too awful). Jun's mom is introduced at one point and it's showed she began forcing him to crossdress at a young age. It's implied she's transgender, which has some awkward implications.

There's not a large amount of fan service, which is nice. The manga is mostly a series of vaguely connected, comedic one-shots but later into the series

they add a romantic subplot between Josei and Yuuki. I would prefer if Yuuki ended up with Jirou but I'm glad there's no romance between her and Jun. It's far too common for manga to pair best friends of opposite genders together, especially when they're opposites or leads. I typically HATE when reverse traps constantly pine over wanting to be more feminine but this only caused mild discomfort here.

If you want a quick, mildly funny manga with either a reverse trap or a trap protagonist I recommend this. Don't expect some amazing storytelling and character development though.

My First Trap Manga

I haven't read anything about Traps before, but let's just say most of the humor in this story is relied on it.
Over the romance part, I hope she ends up with Josei than the traps (there are more than one). The traps remind me of friends instead of love interests, even though they are opposite (in terms of looks and personally) of the female lead. The girl lead (who looks like a male compared to the traps) is emotional for some what.

She has a crush on Josei.

This has a lot of ecchi (at least I think so). Lots of emphasis on bulge (trap's), and perverted jokes. The art style is chibe looks (I really don't like the art but I guess it matches the story). Everyone seems to have large eyes (except Josei).
Overall, this is more of a humor story. There chapters all about gender changes.

It catalogues the friendship (or maybe more?) between a reverse trap and traps. In this manga, it means a biological female that looks and acts masculine and a biological male that looks and acts feminine. It is Slice of Life. It's pretty funny to see that the girl stays embarrassed about her biological sex even while unintentionally looking and dressing boyish according to the cultural standards. The trap boys don't seem to care about gender. She plays the Only Sane Man in a world of Bokes. This girl is building up a trap harem with added romantic appeal. She is boss.

There should be more like this where the gender roles are reversed along with the clothing change (I'm looking at you Ai Ore).

What a terrible description.
"Wow, having tea after being 'saved' from a train molester! And it has something to do with a trap! This manga is definitely for me!"
