Not as sweet...

...as the manga I read right before this one. I was reading "Kimi Note." This was more about jealousy. I found myself thinking halfway through - "It's not over yet?" It just didn't hold my interest.

Very enjoyable. The art was gorgeous and expressive, especially in emotional scenes. The stories weren't very surprising but well-written and satisfying for a genre fan. The third story was the most unusual, with complex power dynamics and obsessive love that showed the vulnerability of both sides.

I just thinking why i read this manga. This manga has a default value or average. I just wanted to tell that the story in this manga is quite sweet, but not as sweet as I imagined. This is one of the manga that I probably will not read again for the second time. This is a manga that is easy to remember because this manga is very distinctive as some of the manga that quite similar to the story line shoujo manga in the Yaoi version.
This manga is not bad, but not as good as I thought. I don't like the characters who have a role as Uke in this manga. I wouldn't recommend this manga, but I'll not ban my friends who want to read it.

Oh I really liked this one!!! The art was superb, really wonderful. The first story was only average unfortunately. Average, but cute. The second one was way better. But what really got me was the third and last story in this manga! Amazing, just great and very different from what I've read before. I wish there was more of it!

Some serious insecurities going on--I love it!

The couple in chapters five and six, "Tranquilize" and "Compose," are fascinating. It's like a brief, condensed study of the human desire to possess and dominate another. Violence and tenderness: two sides of the same coin,

The main story is big-eyed, weepy uke and sweet, self-assured seme--a lovely, if cliched story line.

Lot of cliché

For me it appears that only really good thing is art. It didn't meet my expectation even half....it quite disappointed me...
Main story line is one big cliché (and I thought until now that I like classic cliché fluff...but this is even too much cliché for me..) ...full of cliché-problems....and the biggest problem aren't exactly the cliché-problems but rather their solving...it's always terrible quick, too simple, almost embarrassing....nothing creative without idea ...I was almost all the time bored.
At second story... I was like WTF...
The same with next story.... dead it was too quick everything...
I'm sad that I have to say...for me it was waste of time. I expected so much more.

I loved this so much!

I must say, this is one of my favorites if only for the reason that it made me feel like I was reading a fairytale. The art is so unique and beautiful! And the characters are amazingly expressive considering the artstyle. I could just look at it all day long...

Plot-wise the main story is nothing special, not bad but unoriginal. There were some funny and cute moments but that's about it. If you like a uber innocent uke, you'll like this... Very sweet, amai amai as promised right? smile

The one shots, however, I adored! The Thorns are Hurting my Cheeks is probably my favorite one shot of all time. Wonderfully constructed with some delicious angst and bittersweet love. I especially loved how it was the seme who was more like the innocent one. I found this refreshing after a whole bunch of innocent ukes and confident, experienced super semes. It was so good! The other one shot was great too. A bit of a new twist to your standard bullying seme / innocent uke concept cos it was really a bit more complicated then that...

I recommend this to people who like sweet stuff, are into even the more common tropes but with a twist, and people who like their art pretty. It was definitely worth a read!

Beautiful

You cannot doubt the art - it is beautiful. Probably one of the better ones I've seen.
The main story was OK, just some silly misunderstandings and possessiveness..
heck, it could even be a shoujo manga.. nothing quite special about this. But it was sweet nonetheless.
I love the last story- it is crafted so beautifully~ I'll say it's on par with scarlet *__*
A good amount of angst, and the character's emotions are portrayed so damn well.
Something special about it is that the uke, does in fact, "control" the seme although it is depicted as though the seme controls the uke. The seme's possessive-ness over the uke is very... adorable(?)- I can't really find the right term for it.

This gets an 8 from me thanks to the third story~

I adore the way the mangaka draws the hair, it looks touchably soft! Not too fond of the eyes though... or eyebrows rather, I can't really tell what expression they have on their faces, they all look wide eyed all the time, even the semes. The stories in the manga are all cliches, but like the title, they are sweet and all of them have a "happily ever after" ending that'll give the reader warm, fuzzy feelings.

Don't bother with this

The art is good, but that's the only thing. There's not an original word in this manga, same tired old shounen ai plots as always, and the same naive, moronic and irritating characters as always. Plus, the characters NEVER have a different expression on their face; the ukes always look about to cry over nothing. not worth the time to read.
