Oneshot (Complete)

i quite enjoyed the art and the feeling it conveyed. though it does have potential to become a full series, i think it did a really good job of setting up characters than most authors do. though it doesn't address some of the more glaring questions, it does bring that glimmer of hope that even the main character still holds.
would've loved to see this become a full series rather than a collection of one shots.
This certainly isn't exactly the clearest story ever with how vague the author seemed to try to keep it. It just sort of.. exists and briefly happens before it ends just as quickly. But I think I got the gist of it, nonetheless, and I guess it's nice and pleasant enough. Oh and the art is lovely as always.
We're not really given a resolution, only a setting, the conflict, and a bit of build up. What we are given is very nicely done and the art is wonderful, as expected of Rocky. However, this felt more like the first chapter of a 5-chapter story than a one-shot.
The pacing of the story and art are both well done. There are no jerky or awkward moments that call for a suspensions of my suspension of disbelieve as the internal logic of the world holds.
Part of the reason that I am not scoring it above 8 is because most likely because I am comparing it to other works. Besides that, I think, there was also a lack of background drawing, still the character design and development wasn't half baked.
