I’m on the 110th chapter when I typed this. I TRULY RECOMMEND TO READ AND BE PATIENT, CAUSE IT MAY LOOKS BORING AT FIRST. just read it, pls.
Okay, let’s talk about this manhwa and why did I say it’s a masterpiece. (I’m literally typing this at 1 am, and sorry for my poor english)
At first, this manhwa doesn’t seem to leave an impression on me. Yes, it was boring and I was planning to drop it. The early chapters were boring and aren’t really appealing to me. If I must say, the chapters that will hook you are only in the 30-ish. This manhwa is about four main characters who are competing to be the next queen, and that four main characters are orphans. They are receiving tests in order to become queen. It tells us that in the kingdom they’re living in, even though it’s nicknamed as “The Kingdom of the Queen”, treats women as ‘unprofitable breeds’ thus it’s laughable that the kingdom can be nicknamed as such. The law and society stated clearly that women cannot become someone except for being something that only purpose are to give birth, marriage, and do chores. Women are seen as lowly beings and cannot be compared to men, who are intelligent, strong, wise. This story doesn’t depend on men at all, this story is about women voicing themselves and to make a revolution, to gain women rights. It’s about women and women only. It can be seen as women vs men, but that isn’t the case. It’s about women vs society and prejudices. To give you a warning, this story doesn’t have romance at all. This story contains sensitive topics that involved in women and men, such as, sxual h**sment, rpe, human tr***cking, mrders, and many things. This story deals with those sensitive topics and is inspired by many real events. The women here works hard to achieve that liberation to voice their own opinions, they don’t just sit idly, but actually do some works. Though there are still flaws here and there but it’s actually good, how the authors made these characters is truly remarkable.
