5 Volumes (Complete)

THEY SHOULD HAVE PUT TRAGEDY IN THE GENRE D: I ended up getting teary eyed because of how it ended...I seriously hope that the protagonists in Yureka don't go through that...But then again, it's a different author. Either way, read this manga if you're looking for martial arts fight scenes, some supernatural, a little love interest, an a real tear jerker( You may cry or be upset about the end, it was a bit rushed)
Why are Ping bad if the heros' jerk ? it piss me off Gentle (japanese) heros with only good side. Heroes are human and we have a lot of bad sides. The pb isn't the main character, it's the plot. But i give it 8/10 for the art and the main character.
I really like his drawing, hope he will do/ did others manwhas 😛
As you first read this manhwa is starts out pretty well. as you read about 20 chapters the plot goes from 0-60 in 10 chapters. I felt that the manhwa could have been longer. The manhwa is only 30 chapters so you can tell that its really short for a marital arts shounen manhwa. I thought that the manhwa was getting axed but I guess I may be wrong since it doesn't say it.
You find out about the protagonist's secret and I was quite disappointed. If you are hoping that the main character gets stronger than you are wrong. The ending for the manhwa was sad but not worthy enough for me to shed some tears.
Overall it was a good read at the beginning but it goes downhill. I don't recommend it even though I rated it a 7.5/10.
To summarize, this manhwa is a retelling of a section from "Yu Yu Hakusho" - Toguro and Genkai's tale. If you are familiar with this plot, you can probably skip this manhwa.
The martial art techniques used are different, but the plot is the same as "Genkai Vs Toguro" arc. The art is decent.
Feel free to ignore martial art tecniques and esoteric Korean names used throughout the manhwa - They're are not important. Just concentrate on the story! The manhwa simply intends to make you think about the consequences of immortality and greed.
Oh.. don't judge this manga by its cover.
yeah i agree with "Riui" ,i really didn't like main character that always Smiling with his/her eyes closed, very typical i must say, i really like main character that always do what he think dont just do what other character say, like Edward Elric for example from Fullmetal Alchemist, he really is an awesome character
holy crap i am a twenty year old male but i haven't been this saddened by an ending since the first time i watched the end of gladiator. she DDIIIEEES!!! :( and in such a sad last panel, so depressing but done really well.
I gave it a 5 considering I liked it at the beginning (v1-v3), it was developing nicely. BUT after that it just kinda accelerated out of control and ended at volume 5, as someone else said here and I quote "eventually just couldn't get wtf was happening".
I personally feel that this manhwa's not too bad.
Sure it may be slightly cliche-d but otherwise, it's pretty good now that the story's unfolding.
Progression seems slow but the storyline picks up as the chapters progress. Really worth looking through if only for a bit. The drawings are pretty ok and the storyline's actually a lot better than most - So give this manhwa a chance!
First 3 volumes disappointed me.
I guess there isn't much climax since it's all the same old same old.
It's things you've seen too much already. Tipical story. Expecting better from Volume 4 before I become sad for wasting my money... I hope it gets little more interesting.
i liked the fight scenes but overall the series was too short for me to develop any real attachment to the characters.
the romance was not paced very well, one minute they are arguing and the next they're suddenly in love and smooching. the ending was very close to the taiwanese drama love contract, but unlike the drama, it didn't make me teary-eyed. i think it was supposed to be sad but by then i just didn't care anymore.
the story itself was well done for the first couple of books then it zig-zagged like crazy. i wasn't wondering what was going on, but i did think it was very badly written.
there was a lot of nonsense things thrown in and i think i even rolled my eyes a few times.
still, i gave it a five for those first couple of volumes.
