Pairing: Genji x Izaki
Doujinshi for the movie Crows ZERO.
3 Volumes (Complete)

I really like this series, but it has been quite a while since the first one came out. Any movement been made on the next two? I'm anticipating them!
If you love bad-boys in skinny jeans, you should definitely read this. The pace of it is quite alright, even though they were such short volumes. The art is gorgeous, as you would expect from sensei, and the characters overall pretty well developed. It also has a little hint of comedy that easily soothes the mood in case you're getting way too worked up thinking about the general plot lines that you're missing, in case you don't know the original work. I quite liked it and totally recommend it for those of you, like me, that -- as I said -- just love to see some bad boys in skinny jeans.
EDIT: I haven't seen the sequels yet, but I strongly recommend the first movie of Crows Zero. It's not as slashable as I'd like it (not towards Izaki and Genji either way) but it was still great. Yoneda Kou captured Izaki's character to perfection.
It's not bad. The art is lovely, but it was a little slow and without enough emotional payoff for me. I enjoyed it, but I think I expected it to be better. I might like it better if I had been in the mood for something as mild as this. I'm not sure I was at the time.
This has high ratings for a reason - Yoneda Kou has really outdone herself on this one. Her depiction of the feelings and relationships of the characters were great, and I didn't feel that I needed to know the original series (although I'm sure it would have been nice) to understand it.
