Yume-Yashiki he youkoso], Come to the house of Dream, is consisted with many short stories based on a main character.
The main character, who is a monster that has been living for generations observing the man kind, encounters various people in various era.
The time is Meiji, the place is Tokyo, the capital. There were youkai who quietly lived in the darkness of one corner of this city. The youkai found a human baby who was abandoned in the same darkness one day. Named baby and Yuta is, friendly man in deposits, et al.
The youkai watched Yuta's growth in shadow. But he was unusually scared of the darkness.
