This is what Heroine Shikaku could have been...

A pretty, popular girl who is vain because of a past rejection, who actually questions if her outer beauty matches her her inner beauty. I liked that she had to work for the love interest and that he was not mean to her at all (actually, quite the opposite -- he saves her AND protects her reputation, all within the first three chapters) but really wanted to be sure about it.

Other thing I loved is that they nipped the past rejection right in the bud early on and she runs into her old crush, which is the catalyst for her changing and questioning herself (she thought he would be falling all over her because she's only gotten more pretty since middle school, but he has a girlfriend and she's got egg on her face, lol). This is a high school shoujo done right -- no needless drama (although her lil friend Miyu is trying...) and they're all lovably growing up. Doesn't drag out longer than it needs to (done in one volume) but even then, it does get boring in portions. It's still a solid 8.

Unique main character

Though the plot isn't an extraordinary new, it is quite rare. The main character isnt your usual main, she is a villaj done right, but with pride. A very interesting romance story, as i don't really like teen romance.

I truly loved this, she really is unlucky even though she is beautiful !
She suffered though all the manga and while she was hurting i felt the pain too,
But that's why this manga is so good !though she suffered all the manga and he suffered 1 chapter and an half
