To be fair, it did keep my attention for the entirety of this manga's run, but by the end of it, it was much different than how it started. For starters, this manga makes a total subversion of expectations regarding the yandere trope. Unfortunately, there's not much I can comment on without spoiling the plot and its accompanying surprises, since the manga is only 3 volumes long. The FL is Volume 1 was set up to be an excellent twist on traditional yandere stories, since it's revealed early on that the ML, whom I thought was very unique in that he actually desires the FL and wants her to do her worst to him because he is a thrill-seeking daredevil, which plays in to the story's conclusion. Overall, this manga had some interesting concepts that would have made it stand out above the rest of its genre, but many of them either did not come to fruition by failing expectations, were cut short too soon, or just dropped the ball in its execution. I'd still say that it's above average and will rate it as such, but I won't say the story is anything spectacular. In fact, it's disappointing in many regards, given what I've said already after collecting my thoughts about it a while ago after finishing my read.

I actually really liked it, up until the end, which I found went for a happy but kind of unsatisfying end. It almost felt rushed/axed with how mc completely did a 180 on a dime. Would have preferred maybe a more tragic ending if it had retained the logic of MC's path rather than having him go back on his whole struggle almost at a whim.

The story doesn't really go anywhere in terms of characterization. Worst of all, the topic of suicide isn't really fleshed out; while the author could've gone for a social commentary, or a philosophical exploration of the subject, it just decided to go for the romcom with cheap cliffhanger route. I still read it to the end because it's quite short, but do go read something else if your backlog is backed up. This one's a flop.

the earlier chapter u got physico thriller genre comic but turn to cute slice of life make u wonder what will happen next. u are not bored the stories unpredictable and dark but not to dark i like it

It's exciting to watch a couple of weirdos, especially ones that not uncommonly show very humane traits instead.
