I can't tell if it's the author or the translation, but many times words will be said that lead up to information being shared, then will skip to the reaction to what was said.
Something like this (made up names and dialogue to prevent spoilers):

Red: "Otis, I'll tell you what happened."
Otis: "I can't believe it, to think it was like that."

I kid you not, the dialogue is exactly that vague, skipping over the important parts many times and leaving the reader knowing something was discussed... but with no clue as to what that something is.

And the premise is neat, but don't think too hard about the application, as the types of insurance don't always function as insurance. Also, somehow 2 people manage what looks like hundreds of cases at the scene, and no two cases ever have an emergency at the same time.

What happens if four people's insurance for rescue summon them at the same time? As I said, don't think too hard.

All that aside, there's some interesting world building, characters and scenarios.

Fanservice is a bit much, especially since the art isn't that good.

Edit: Read chapter 33 and... yeah, Chief has been an inconsistent character. She's been irritating more recently and now, for some strange reason,


Perhaps that's just the art not displaying the correct level of infatuation, so who knows? Regardless, I was hopeful Chief would stabilize but... well, all these fantasy stories with guilds and adventurers must have their bad parts, it seems.

Still probably worth trying, especially once the plot twist happens.
