In the middle of a high school assembly, all of the students suddenly collapse. The one behind it all is a girl named Mao who holds a grudge. She's out for revenge against the entire school!
1 Volume (Complete)

Don't waste your time reading this series! It's the worst! At first I thought it was going to be a gunfight between the girl and the students, or at least a showdown. But instead it became a battle of chainsaws!!! And there was little character development
That was weird. I usually like Toume Kei's manga but this was so insane.
Like it was made on drugs.
I'm not sure if it was supposed to be metaphoric or something but it was so confusing.
-_-;
The first chapter was good. Then it went full-retard. Like the mangaka got to the end of it and went 'screw it! I'm bored of this sensible-yet-interesting plot I'm setting up. Let's have KILLER ROBOTS!'.
For one thing, I didn't mind the killer robots. Those were kinda funny but what just... killed much of the action was
students with pots and pans VERSUS robots with chainsaws?! Errr... say what? While that might have been amusing for a while, it made for a really terrible survival scenario 'cos it was a bit too absurd and silly to count as "good action". I mean... it felt more like some children's game at times.
Though a redeeming point was that the chase scenes were kinda exciting. Also, the katana versus killer robot scenes were a bit entertaining for a limited time, I guess.
And while I did get the sentiments and principles behind Mao's motivations and actions, I felt that there're so many other manga that do a far better job of fleshing out the idea of "revenge against a school that's overly stringent" or if not, bullying. Like for example: Volumes 3 and 4 of Ghost Hunt and quite likely, a plethora of other manga titles that attempt to cover such issues in-depth.
And because we don't really see enough of the factors that triggered Mao's revenge, so it's not that easy to buy into Mao's actions either. In fact, much of the 1st chapter feels like a really half-hearted attempt to set up some survival tale about "killer robots versus students", of pitting the protagonist versus the antagonist(while ensuring a connection between them) and how feelings of friendship and love will triumph over almost everything, I guess.
All that aside, Toume Kei's art is gorgeous as ever and there's that typical moody and foreboding atmosphere hanging around in this title.
In good faith, I'm not sure if I can recommend this to anyone except to Toume Kei's fans. It's altogether, a silly and ridiculous spin on a survival scenario but her touches make this a bit easier to stomach, if you're familiar with her other titles.
The art is usually good for the most part but the story seems like a lame after thought that the manga-ka slapped on when his editor told him: "LOL WTF is this!?". It's pretty evident that all the manga-ka wanted to do was draw killer trash cans.
It's been awhile since I've read a manga that was as ridiculously stupid as this one. I mean seriously, this manga is a piece of shi*. The first chapter was good, and I was looking forward to reading the the 2nd and 3d ones, but holy crap... I had no idea it was possible to make something that had some potential into..into..into THIS.
