I honestly hate isekai, cause all of them have the same premise, mc is transported to another wolrld and is either at the bottom of the barrel or at the very top due to a special ability. I was wondering if there is even any good isekai that i can enjoy.

This is one that i enjoy,

It does hav some cliches, but botht he artstyle and the characters are good, much better than the shit isekai

Give this a read and you will see what i mean

Surprisingly good

It's actually quite good, I didn't really expect that from a manga like this. It reminds me of a slice-of-life day-to-day random manga with no real plot and nothing of substance ever happening, you know, the disjointed type of story you'd usually find in a 4koma where everything is just mini-stories.

We just follow along this handyman from japan as he gets appreciated and puts his skills to good use. What does bother me, however, is how utterly horrible the japanese working climate must be, it just can't be healthy when mangas like these are popular and pop out everywhere. I mean, it's kind of pathetic in a way. Some random dude goes to another world where he finally gets a break from our world and gets to live life and be appreciated. Usually people in positions that can be related to like middle-aged salarymen or this dude. This guy is a handyman and it seems like he was never appreciated for what he did, so now he can finally feel wanted. I mean, wow. That's just sad. Especially since he keeps b*tching about it and comparing this life with his previous one "Now I finally feel a sense of fulfillment". I don't even know what to say. I think the author has some trauma about being told that others can replace him as well. It starts to feel like he's nagging a bit too much about it after a while.

Normally you'd think that people going to another world would adventure and stuff like that, to live a grand life by using your newfound abilities and/or options, but one would have to think again because these japanese people quite often just wants to settle down somewhere and live life... They're pretty decent at writing this stuff, but seriously, I would never want to work in Japan. I used to, once in my life, think that I wanted to be a manga artist and work in Japan. But after reality struck me with a sledgehammer, I just decided that, hey, it's nice to visit japan once in a while and go to different locations to sightsee and test stuff out like local specialties, but work there? Hell no, not unless I get a sweet deal with a good pay and guaranteed good working conditions where I actually have a say in what I do.

And seeing all these manga coming out, I know I couldn't have been more right.
