Jade, a soldier, was captured and abandoned.

He is picked up by Renai, a member of a tribe known as the "Messenger of Death."

Feeling guilty for being the only one to survive, Jade is plagued by hallucinations of his lost friends, but the words and warmth that Renai gives brought Jade back to reality from his nightmare. Jade gradually becomes attracted to him.
