Description
Jung Hyunwoo is just an unlucky gamer barely making ends meet in the VR game "God Wars." He even ends up losing access to his game account due to a horrible accident and is forced to create a new character. In the process, he discovers that he has an ability that allows him to see hidden information in the game, which leads him to become a Grand Warlock. Now equipped with a mind-blowing skill and a legendary class, all that's left is for him to level up and go from zero to hero...

The game/Economy/plot of it all really doesn't make sense.
Once you consider the plot as a whole, and why the "bad guys" are after him, it just falls flat on its face.
It's feels like it's written by someone who asked another person about a MMO, didn't really understand any of it, and wrote something.

The beginning 20 chapters something are a slog to go through thou.
The Wharton chapters and misunderstandings are EXCELLENT.
If the pacing of the beginning wasn't such a slog, I'd have given it a higher rating (probably 1.5x of what I've given to it currently). But because of the molasse-like pacing of the beginning, I can't exactly recommend it. I suggest that the beginning 20 or so chapters be skimmed fast. Then read it at a normal speed.
Why do I find it boring?
Imagine that you are watching a 1-view streamer starting a game from scratch, there's no QOL, he's doing a New Game+ of a game you don't give a shit about. It's a MMO and the protagonist actively avoids interactions.
The equivalent would be:
Joining Omegle and not showing your face (what's the point).
Get a social media account on a social media website that does not require an account and do nothing but lurk (but you can do that already without an account).
Try it, try watching a MMORPG streamer starting a new character in an old game, and try watching 8 hours of his gameplay WITHOUT ALT-TABBING... and tell me how fun it feels like. Because that's how I felt when reading through the first 20 chapters or something. There's not enough variance of the events and it feels incredibly repetitive. Like why do I care about you doing this fetch quest, it all feel so samey.
The fun part of this series is once they get into the livestreaming deals, shit's making me snort.

The typical guy turns lucky gamer/streamer story. Nothing special, other than him staying a solo player and his cute pet/guardian. I wish there was there was a bit more focus in the in-person world and his family. In any case, the art is good and it's entertaining enough if you're bored.

Same as the others in it's genre, except maybe the streamer aspect (which we really haven't seen much of as of ch. 21).
Unlucky (but honestly just average luck) guy gets overpowered class which removes any rng from the game 'everyone' plays. The game itself has the worst gacha system in existance (and I'm a gacha sucker). Litteraly any aspect of the game has rng. Just an example: the main class you will play your whole game → gotta luck it, or you'll have to spend hundreds to try another chance at a better class.
