Weirdly full of half-baked grievance politics, but fun every now and then if you turn the analytical and empathetic parts of your brain off. Even doing so, it definitely felt to me like this one got over-hyped... it's pretty mid most of the time.

I didn't like the beginning. I had to force myself to read; I just didn't understand why this manhwa is one of the highest-rated on the website. The formula of problem -> MC handed something by the system that immediately solves the problem, was terrible. After the first 20 or so chapters, I became hooked and couldn't stop reading.

Despite my praise, I still can't give it higher than a 7 rating. After finishing everything available, it's still too formulaic: problem -> mc starts solving problem -> enemy interferes -> mc defeats enemy and solves problem, with barely any downtime at all before it restarts the formula. While this might be good for keeping people hooked, it's in desperate need of longer slice-of-life moments and breaks from the drama. All of the side characters/protagonists have suffered as a result of the constant action and drama, remaining entirely undeveloped. The setting remains largely unexplored even after 130 chapters. If I read a novel with such flaws, it wouldn't even earn a 5/10 rating from me, and considering this is adapted from a novel, I'm tempted to judge it the same, and I only didn't because despite my criticism it kept my attention well enough that I read 100+ chapters in just a few days.

I'm honestly not sure how this even has any bad reviews but it just goes to show that a lot of people have different tastes. This is an extremely funny manhua that blends their comedy and serious moments pretty well in my opinion. I will say one of the tropes that I dislike in this is that the main character doesn't understand his emotions very well however it does make sense in the context that they give for his background.
It is similar to almost every slice of life isekai in that while there does seem to be a main story its kinda more background.

Edit.: As all not having a clear goal hurts this series badly and it ends up being boring since it doesn't advance steadily in any of the main plots presented.

MC is outrageous, and he is conscious about it. Normally this isn't enough for me to like a series, but lately there haven't been any original series on the table. This series feels refreshing since it stays coherent to what is introduced and substitutes the usually self centred/righteous monologues of Asian MCs with greed for money (there's no "I need money because mother is in the hospital to then forget the hardship and live a life a life of luxury" or "the villain kicked a puppy now I'll masacre him and his whole family because they are the puppy kicking clan". It isn't one trick pony either, but I won't spoil the fun.

They don't manage to blend his past life to oppose all the drole and you can feel how even the him being an engineer is probably also a parody. All in all the story stays consistent to what is introduced; doesn't try to portray the MC as a genius and the development is are plausible with how the characters act/strategise to what the MC does (they suspect him being a different person, they try to put him to work make jokes/laugh at him ...).

The first time I saw this series I dropped it since I checked out a recent chapter at the time which contained a trope I disliked ( having small different style pets or whatever) and though it would be rather generic. I must say they're still a low point of the story that are only there for convenience, but they're are barely relevant to the story and only serve as an excuse to accelerate the plot. Many other standard tropes are parodied.

This is one of my favorites. Although it starts with a typical isekai trope, the story has many original elements. The art is superb(including action scenes). The character's development is exciting and driving. World-building and power system is good and consistent. And the best part; the comedy itself is enough to read.

Forget Solo Levelling, if ANY webtoon deserved to be animated, its THIS one.
If you don't like this series, you dont like fun.

You could read this series simply for face expressions and its rating would still be 10/10.

No description can prepare you for the things you are about to read/see.
This is probably the funniest manga/manhwa I've ever read. The MC is quite smart even if many other characters think he is mental.
I cannot remember any other series where I'm laughing out loud with every chapter.

An absolute wild ride, the story is great, the art is great. 100% recommend it,

Reminds me of ORV and TTOCF, if you liked those you’ll like this one.
