Damn it

This has been pretty great so far. The overall story is very interesting with several elements and mysteries to pique your interest. The art is great with great action scenes that look really well. I got some Bleach vibes at times. And i really like most of the characters. They all have their charm. This is definitely worth the read and i think the overall rating is too low. Not many people here give new manga a fair chance. This has so much potential.

Like all political topics, there exists nuance; even within slavery. It's certainly not a good system and one best left abolished. But refusing to acknowledge the shades of gray within the worst parts of human history is folly. This manga is especially daring to do so during this dark period in modern society.

The story more or less centers around the slaver/slave relationship between the princess and the MC. It's a unique relationship; the princess knows she and her nation are weak and therefore she requires more than an obedient slave: she requires a diplomatic partner. Oh, boy, did she score. The story's relationships are weak, the storyline is a bit above average, and the art is solid. I'd give this manga a 7/10 on those merits.

During the anti-slavery days of the English and American empires, treating slaves more like servants, partners, or in a few cases, family members, was common. Ownership did not necessarily mean the slave was subhuman. Therefore, I rated this '10' to offset the "SLAVERY WHITE SUPREMACY" bigots who will inevitably vote '1.'

So, it's not really a '10,' but, if you know anything about the reincarnation genre, then you knew that already.

Starts interesting and we understand something's up with the world. But the MC can be a bit annoying for me. Clever, ex-prince, but hey-ho, happy to be a slave (although I'll acknowledge this world's common sense). I don't like how he's trying to avoid then save his old companions (just because he's reborn as a new person), and literarily sending he's followers to the princess which he can just lead them himself, which they acknoledge him as the "master".
Still reading to see where this goes, but the princess is meh, good to see his old elf companion has joined the crew and now see why his body is in control by someone else

Only read the first two chapters, but holy hell does it look promising.
Translations are top quality and I hope story develops further.
