Makoto, who gave up his long-time dream of being teacher to work at a teaching materials company, is struggling. Dumped by his girlfriend and unable to adjust to his new life, his days are falling apart.

In the midst of this, he reunites on a Christmas-lit street with Kyosuke, a former student he tutored during his part-time job as a private tutor.
