Unique premise

The main plot line is kinda interesting but was not executed that well (2nd chapter showed it better than the first).

I also really enjoyed the parallel lines metaphor used in a later oneshot regarding euclidean geometry vs non euclidean geometry. It was a cool way to put it.

Thank you so much UmeinoChance for picking this up and translating this. It makes me so, so, so happy to finally see this completely translated.
I love this so much. It’s so cuteeee!!! I just can’t get enough of it. The starting is a bit rocky however as the story progress it gets more clearer and even better. The humor is well done, and if the cuteness of this doesn't melt your heart then surely the humor will. This kind of story line, characterization and humor is difficult to come by. The art work too is quite detailed and captivating.

Full of potential...wasted

I've only read the first two chapters, but I was really intrigued by the setting. This manga has a lot to suit my taste: good art, good characters, and good plot. I really like the way the author manages to create such an emotional ambiance within just a few pages, my heart was feeling more and more for the characters as I was going further in the story. Plus, I appreciate it when in a manga, the author doesn't make everything obvious, and leave us to guess between the lines what's going on sometines. I think it adds to the poetry and subtlety of this manga.

So far, this the only work of this author translated, and it even seems it's been dropped. I really hope that someone will take interest in this author, and try to translate her works, I'm sure it's worth it. If I could, I'd already done so.

Edit : well, now that I've read the whole book, I'm quite disappointed. There was good premises, but a poor execution in the end. Except for the second chapter that's the only good one here, all the other stories felt shallow or stupid. And for a manga that obviously aims at being cute with lovey-dovey couples, it falls short. I didn't see the love there. Really, such a shame.

Itd probably make more sense if you read ch2 before 1 as ch2 explains how the cat thing works better and is easier to understand compared to ch1.
Basically its something like
if a "neko" falls in love with a human they go see the "Elder" cat who grants them the ability to be human yet towards the one they fall in love with they are still seen as a cat. Yet when the love turns mutual or something like that the owner will be able to finally see the neko in Human form and understand them as well, whereas before everything the neko said would actually sound like a cat meowing. What I didn't get was how the owner in the first ch took the neko to what looked like a cafeteria and ate human food with it like it was normal. Nor how the owner wasnt surprised when his friends started chattng with the cat.
