Description

Dry straw has more personality than this fl, Eunseo is very 2D and literally has no development. Her whole character is just boring. As for the ml i did like the mysterious yandere vibe he gave off , but as the manhwa went on even he started seeming more and more pathetic. They literally have no chemistry and he’s more of a bodyguard than a lover. I can’t even begin to talk about the grandpa, the actual real villain of the story, his weird obsession with getting fl married into his family is the root of all the problems. The old geezer literally treats her like his doll…
As for the plot it’s very cliche and the whole thing with the grandpa being in debt to eunseo’s family as his saviours and so wanting to marry eunseo into his family was so weird. Also 2nd ML’s fate is way too dramatic and there’s many other cliches the author uses that just feel so forced into the story.
Art style was cute which made me keep reading but as soon as season 2 started the artist changed. The whole vibe of the manhwa was ruined and the main characters look so bland and almost unrecognisable. I don’t know how the new artist managed to do it but eunseo looks even more boring.

I think I was temporarily blinded by the fan service/art. This is a subpar plot filled with unnecessary drama and misunderstandings along with weak character development. Thank you to the guardian angel who shared the novel spoilers:

It would have been a shame to invest so much time on this just to see it unfold like that. Smh.
why is the main character so boring
the only thing this is good for so far seems to be eye candy
unless they do something where they address genuine problems (like male leads unhealthy obsession and main characters extreme passiveness) and we have some sort of character development, it's just going to be some self indulgent mid-tier eye candy best enjoyed without reading half the text
update 22/11/2021: just popped back in after seeing this old comment-its not even worth the eye candy; main character has no personality apart from maybe being wronged, male lead's only personality is that he loves mc (mild yandere notes, enough to keep the 12-15 age group squealing), her best friend also has no personality aparet from being a ridiculously subpar wingwoman; the plot is just Main Character is Being Wronged and its so ridiculously boring
