The story's average. I don't mind tropes and clichés, as long as they're interesting.
Can't say that this was interesting enough though. Characters are pretty 2D and are pretty much there to serve one purpose. The leads don't annoy me to the point where I want to drop it but don't keep me wanting more neither. I think the author paid extra attention to make sure readers don't hate the leads. Pacing is slow and 75% is internal dialogue but not thought-provoking, intriguing dialogues. The different POVs and internal thoughts make it boring because they overexplain everything. I mean, we had a whole chapter dedicated to some side character's internal monologue about how she's going to get her revenge and how FL has wronged her, without actually mentioning how she's going to avenge herself. The only real driving force to making me finish this story was the fact that I was already halfway through it.

Had high expectations since I love angsty manhwa but it’s quite boring. I’ve read up to 20 chapters the pacing is just not for me, there’s not enough interesting events going on for me to feel like continuing to read this. The art is really nice tho

Somewhat similar to Ebony but not as good, in storytelling, pace, world setting and human insight, this one is leagues ahead in art thou (thou the CG backgrounds need better AA).
The main issue imo is that the author lacks knowledge of the human psyche which wouldn't be such an issue if it werent such a psychological story with mental trauma. This is shown in many ways but most prominent is the easiness and speed in which the MC is able to recover from her psychological scars. Sure, some roots still linger as they should but still, those kind of wound don't heal easy.
Also, it's too soon to know much of the world (specially since the pace and story are focused exclusively on her PoV), but unlike in Ebony were mistreatment of woman is clearly expressed as part of the kingdom's culture, here it just felt that it was used as a tool for the prologue, for her tragic past, but the society itself doesn't seem to portray that, it ain't that different from the usual late medieval/ renaissance cultures, men had indeed more rights and prominence than women and at places women were possessions of their husbands, but I've never heard of condoning wife slavery. Still, I may be jumping to conclusions here, so time will tell.
Overall, it's somewhat entertaining regardless, but one can feel the shortcuts and plot tools used by the author.
