Description
Brilliant jazz saxophonist Yashiro Shunichi has never recovered from the loss of his beloved pianist in an accident sixteen years ago. I get the idea that the author was trying to go for with this story, but unfortunately the actual product on paper in black and white just wasn't the way to go at it at all. Aside from the obviously distasteful plot I'm also averse to the buckets of superficial and repetitive melodrama on top of some very unattractive characterisation, and I'm not just talking about the assault perpretrators. Supposedly everyone and their mother felll in love with that main character but honestly his Mary Sue personality got super grating and hard to sympathise with after awhile. You can say that him being naturally dense isn't his fault and I agree, but that doesn't mean I have to like him when he presented himself to be so wishy-washy and uninteresting in the first place.

Anyway this manga could learn a thing or two from The Trigger, a title that also centres around an unpleasant story but is vastly superior in every way.

Clean art but...

The art was nice and clean but the plot left a bad taste in my mouth. This is filled with gratuitous rape and it was portrayed as love most of the time. The story was way too intense way too fast.

Most of the flaws can be explained by the author, not the artist. I'd recommend to skip this one if you are a Sadahiro Mika fan, as this is even more over the top than what is the norm for her.
