DROPPED!!

The female lead was terribly annoying and completely idiotic. The two leads have known each other for years, though it doesn't seem that way at all with how little Tsubasa believes/trusts him! Feel bad for Shou, honestly.

Reading this manga wasn't exciting, a waste of time. I'm surprised I got through the first six chapters without blowing my brains out.

To those who choose to read, Good Luck.

Incredibly annoying female lead

I've read my fair share of shoujo mangas but I have NEVER found one where the heroine is just this plain annoying. I have such a big headache from reading this because all the female lead could do is whine and cry over her insecurities every single chapter. Literally- every. single. chapter. The female lead is weak, dependent on the male for EVERYTHING, petty, and pretty stupid. It also seems as if they were also randomly thrown into a relationship by the mangaka. The boy has no particular interest in her (as it seems) and she just keeps crying. Seriously, she was so annoying.

Shoujo Heroine With No Brain Function

10's? Was we reading the same thing? The heroine is dumber than a box of rocks and has the innocence of a five year old that keeps screwing up chapter after chapter.

Spoiler (mouse over to view)
Goes to the beach meets the bad boy has accidental kiss. Tells Shou, he doesn't like it but forgives and tells her to be wary of bad boy.

She knows bad boy wants her, but she is stupid and goes into his house and he gives her a hickey because she is Mickey Mouse stupid.

Shou forgives and tell her once again be wary of bad boy because he knows she's naive stupid.

The necklace Shou gave her breaks and bad boy grabs it at school. Tells her if she wants it back go on a date with him. She does and Shou runs into them at the end.

Shou forgives her because he's a masochist. Tells her again to be wary of bad boy.

She wants to get a present for Shou so gets a job.....working with bad boy.

See a pattern? It's a never ending pattern of stupidity and cliche.

Update ch 32: Lead female is a special kind of stupid. After all this time she's still cringe worthy clueless.

I would say this is your typical shoujo heroine, but she takes the cake in stupidity. If you want a strong female lead that has a working brain than look elsewhere. Than again I should have known since the mangaka has a thing for stupid female leads

As of chapter 19 she is still brain dead. Got to give Shou credit for not kicking her to the curb by now.

Dropped at chapter 4. Female lead has cried every chapter so far

Cliched over dramatic shoujo. There wasn't anything particularly outstanding about this title. The girl wasn't annoying per say, but drew a lot of her own conclusions and cried a lot. The guy, while not a jerk, doesn't even seem like he likes her that way at all.

If you're in the mood for a typical shoujo, I guess this would be a great read.

Pretty ordinary fare (till ch3)

Well drawn, not terribly unique or original, but honest all the same. You feel not much is really happening even when the whole chapter's done with, and storytelling isn't super mature. Just an OK read, nothing to write home about. Art's good, but not enough to recommend this read solely for the art's sake.

Cute, yet painful childhood friendship/love. [tbc]

Well, the artwork isn't specifically detailed or eyecatching, but it's nicely done and matches the Shoujo genre. For me, I especially like Shou's dark aura given by his edgy look and dark colorings, which set a great contrast to the brightly smiling female main character.

Coming to the characters, they are not stereotyped and running around in circles too much, but given the childhood friends scenario of course you get your drama. This being said and thought of all kinds of well-known scenes, the emotions are coming along strongly. It's interesting to see, how the characters try to figure out their feelings and face the hardships given by the other one. Being forced to face your first love falling for someone else, facing the painful unrequited love or pushy feelings of a person close - These are just a few examples, which are pulled of nicely so far. It's nothing great, but for the Shoujo genre a decent piece of work so far.

It's good, really good! I can't wait for the chapters to come out any faster! The drawings are really good, you can tell there will be heartbreaks. You can also, nearly, foretell who will go with who. But you never know! I just can't wait, and I'm itching for the whole volume to be released already!
