This couple has other problems. She mentions her husband ran up 30k yen in credit card debt in one month without her knowledge. When she asks him, he says he doesn't know how the bill is that high and he even goes as far as to go to the bank with her to see if they were fraudulent charges. He does his knowing full well it was all him who spent that money. They never address this in the depth it deserves. Well, she does but she excuses it with "he's fiscally irresponsible but his love is pure."

The idea of her husband's love for her being pure is how she defends him all the time even though she seems to acknowledge multiple times that love doesn't solve all problems. Her husband also makes negative comments about her weight and appearance as she tries to "better" herself/become more sexually appealing to him. He's a terrible communicator despite his wife being straightforward about her sexual needs, too. She goes through a lot of effort to be more "desirable" to him with HIS encouragement. Again, he does this knowing full well it won't make him want to have sex with her - he's constantly lying to and jerking her around.

The resolution to this centers him and his childish "wah-wah-cry-cry" insecurities. Had he just communicated this all the numerous times his wife tried to very straight-forwardly discuss their sexlessness, he could have saved them (and me) both a lot of suffering. Their relationship will be fine so long as she continually puts his needs before her own, I guess. They came off like middle schoolers, not an adult married couple.

The husband actually has his reasons not to have sex, but all she cares about is getting off.

I'm not sure why there is so many bad reviews. I thought this manga was funny, well articulated and thoughtful.
The main female lead is very likable and strong and tries to push forward and is not all cliche. I thought the one volume story was very well done.
