in the worst way possible.
art is cute, i suppose, but to be honest it really is like the common BL manga you see out there, sometimes even worse. i dropped it in the middle of the first chapter when

the student is raped by the teacher he confesses to and in the end the teacher realizes what he has done and quickly stands up and says, "I MUST TELL THE SCHOOL WHAT I HAVE DONE." wtf? he tries being noble after what's done has been done? (and sounding ridiculous at that). and if he really had any ounce of love for Minami, he wouldn't have done that. typical characters, typical plot.

Same old BL

Favourite story was the last one. It was cute and sweet. An innocent kind of first love. The others all had points about them I didn't really care for. Overall, nothing much special. There's some pointless cruelty in quite a few of these stories and a lack of serious relationship building. If you've read a lot of BL, this volume comes across as same-old, same-old and it's probably best to skip unless bored.

I like the first story until the uke is pathetic enough to accept that deal. Thats so inconsiderate of the seme's feelings if he finds out.
The second one is just boring and has no depth.
The last 2 stories are funny and cute, even though one of it has incest but you can barely see it.

The stories have potential, a lot. But they're all confusing, moving too fast and shallow.
I don't know what's going on half the time, much less understand why the characters act like they do. None of the characters are likable, they are random and a lot of their decisions come too fast or are just unlikable... There seem to be no consequences either.
Stuff just happens, and then it's all forgotten.

The art is okay but it, paired with the mediocre sex scenes, do not make up for the plot.

If you want story, then there's better out there. If you want smut, then there's better out there.
I don't recommend this to anyone, unless you are a fan of the mangaka.

I'm always in favor of plots that move it along w/ sex, otherwise I get bored. So this definitely kept me interested. For once, the whole "pure-innocent" character didn't annoy me and Matsuda did not turn out to be an a*s that loved to make his partner cry.
I'm just saying, but it kinda looked like shotacon, which I don't usually go for. Minami looked really young is all, even though he was a high school student.

Title Story: easy, fun read with a touch of angsty hardcore

The background for Matsuda’s behaviour is told briefly but with enough detail to make him a compelling, relate-able character. One can understands immediately why Matsuda acts with suspicion and cruelty toward Minami’s sincere devotion. There is a bit of angry, frustrated dub-con in this piece, but even those who are uncomfortable with that element in a yaoi story may like this one, perhaps finding it suitable and meaningful with the plot and characters’ development.

Minami’s dogged determination to maintain his good-nature and confidence in winning over Matsuda was touching; he was a strong uke, even with his deceptive typical ‘weak uke’ art work. Further on the art, it wasn’t anything special, but it was pretty and competent bishounen style.

The delivery and pacing were suspenseful and sharp even with the predictable plot. Scanlation teams translated and edited this piece beautifully.

i loved Damasaretemo ch 7 but the seme makes a strange comment he said he went "around" with a girl to stop her from spreading rumors about him and the uke. i cant help wondering what he meant, and why it didnt bother the uke...

i didnt like how one of the characters cheated on his partner, to "protect" him, plus his partner actually forgave them both? even if the guy is his ex lover he had sex with his new lover, he should have been furious and yet he didnt care that his partner had cheated, its so messed up. how could he restrain himself from not beating up the guy that had sex with his lover?
