This manga if very well made, you can pretty much get the feelings in each page without much dialogue, and a few words can tell you what is inside a character. At first I thought I was reading to much into it, but the more you read the more clear things become.
I was scared while reading that this was going to be one of those depressing, though realistic, stories where a character is stuck in a certain position in life and simply can't or won't fight it. But it turned to be more positive than that without being unrealistic or overly-optimistic. It conveys a good message in more than one way, it talks about god, and life in particular and the many forms of love there are that aren't mutually exclusive. It can simply refer to doing what your heart tells you (within reason) as well.
The art is beautiful in itself and also complements the storytelling marvelously. I very much recommend this story, it is a wonderful experience.

A wonderful and very touching manga, it focuses on life of characters who reside in a nunnery so you will feel the religious air, but that is never too forceful. Although the manga usually focuses on the novices, it will also let you take peeks at the thoughts and pasts of other characters (sisters), fleshing out their characters. Certain mature themes are introduced, and are handled pretty well without delving too deeply into them, giving the overall manga a mature subdued feel.
Instead, I think it's a tale of self discovery, following what your heart wants instead of laying complacent and that it's OK to love God and other people at the same time.
Overall, this was an enjoyable read, personally, I find the simple art style and full coloured pages also adds to the reading experience.
