Shirakawa, a picture book author, enjoys killing time at a candy shop next to a laundromat twice a week.

Kuroishi, the owner of the candy store, is the one who “called out to me when I was at the bottom of my life,” and he is also the one whom Shirakawa is secretly in love with.

One day, Shirakawa visits Kuroishi and notices an unusual atmosphere in the store. He rushes over to see that Kuroishi has been attacked by a stranger. Shirakawa, who is an alpha, discovers that Kuroishi is an omega from the pheromone smell that fills the store.

Kuroishi, who says that his inhibitors are ineffective and that he usually cures his heat through casual relationships, appears to be somewhat desperate. Shirakawa, who feels sorry for Kuroishi, offers to be Kuroishi's partner during the “heat” period.
