This is completely unique in the sense that the setting and main character is not a self-insert character that the majority, if not all other, manhwas are. The main character loses, constantly and in devastating ways like at the end of season 3. But he rises back up. The MC isn't the most compelling character, his personality is nondescript but the saving grace of his skeleton trait, the story and the characters interactions with him, more than makes up for it. Most other manhwas with similar settings, are carried by their gorgeous art but have lackluster writing to say the least
Skeleton Hero isn't breaking new ground, lord knows there are hundred of thousands of other "game-system" fantasy settings (maybe the main unique trait of this toon, isn't the skeleton part, it's that the story isn't an isekai), but none do this amount of detailed story building with an actual plot that isn't centered around a "lone hero, who gets a harem but is magically blessed with legendary gear".
I am rambling a bit, so I apologize. Go read this, it's good. It's literally the only manhwa that I can bear to read

After some time the author will probably explain that if he had done 'x' or 'y' some big shot would've permanently destroyed him. But in the end we are getting an MC the doesn't know or bother to know anything ,he just gets pushed around by random people.

The world itself is very inconsistent as if the author can't decide if he should stick to a game system, a hard magic system, technology of the past ... All of which have big holes in them. He just vomits whatever he read/played last week .
It's obvious he should stay in the shadows and at least try to learn whats happening whilst he gets as strong as he can, but he ends up siding with the first person he sees and getting himself and the ones he cares of killed, to then randomly revive in the past and ignore what just happened, to follow a different plot line the author pulled out his ass.

just died and his main aid's existence was destroyed. And since he was weak AF he couldn't even put a fight. The worst of all is how all his stupid side quests have been reset and since his friends almost disappeared most of the scene they set has gone along with it.

Well, like all these kind of webtoons, the much if the story has to si with character development and powers, at first MC was gaining power little by little, It has a good pace, but seems like at some point (if you tras and get there you Will know what un talking about) the autor got tires of that development and said "fuck It, lets just load this Guy with whattever" and well... Nos Is just one of those overpowered MC like tina if other ones

Due to ratings that this webcomic have I can see that most people will not agree with me, but I think this is one of the best reincarnation driven webcomic/manga out there. Art is great and the world is well reliased. So well realised that main character often feels almost insignificant. There are plenty of strong/unique characters and they don't just circle around main character. They have their own lifes, their own problems. I like pretty much everything about this manga. You really don't know where this story is going and for me it is very exciting because plots in this genre tend to be paper thin

After the first 40 chapters or so, I don't think anyone who's reading this has any idea of what's going on anymore. While all the characters more-or-less act rationally, the logic and physics of the magic and technology in this world are extremely inconsistent. There's a major paradigm shift every 10 chapters, and I feel like you can't take a single aspect of this world seriously.
We've gone from a reincarnation manga, to an OP is just barely surviving manga, to an OP can absorb abilities manga, to an everyone dies around OP manga, to a why is there a motorcycle with Google Maps manga.

I don't know about this one. Yeah, the MC is very rational and asks the right questions but he lacks so much. He essentially a servant given an incredible 2nd chance at life but doesn't know how to use it since he's never experienced how to think for himself. He basically follow the script that the RPG window pop-ups gives him, hopping from serving one female necromancer to the next when the plot calls for it.
He's basically the MC from ELLC who's an emotionless monster but this MC lacks drive, minus the vague desire to serve his last master 20 years in the future.
That's another issue of the story, parts of our MC's memory seem compromised and it's hinted at that this is one of the mysteries of the story. Great, but we have to follow a blank slate around for far too long.
Also it doesn't help that the art is very lacking.
Can't recommend avoiding or picking this up yet. There's the chance the mysteries of the story come together to deliver an enjoyable payout but it's currently leaving me hanging.
