The person who discovered all the sides to the modest and sharp-tongued Iroha is actually a crybaby!
Oneshot (Complete)

Well I loved the design for Iroha and that is why I started the manga but it really fails to escape from any shoujo cliché. The story is just rigged with cheap dialogue like "you're still a girl" and "cute doesn't suit me" . I guess it's understandable to some degree since this is a oneshot. I really hate how this author makes these seemingly original characters then cram them in a shitty plot line. The art is still gorgeous though.
I think MATSUMOTO Kaori tries very hard to make her protagonists non stereotypical and unique in their personality traits, even if she does oneshots. While both the leads have eccentric traits in this one too, the pace and direction of the story doesn't exploit their dynamic sufficiently. It's cute, but it feels a little rushed or incomplete somehow, could definitely have used a couple more chapters of self discovery. But nice sweet story still.
It's not bad (for a one-shot), but for a seasoned reader, this kind of stuff only really passes the time.
I would have preferred if the girl kept her attitude and the guy didn't swoop in and save the day. The only novelty of this would be that the guy cries easily. But I don't think the girl's that far from a crybaby either, to be honest. (Or maybe I just feel bait and switched with the female lead.)
Recommended for shoujo newbies/readers who like fluff.
