The mc is tryijg to save himself originally, but alpng the way, he does find out that he was an asshole, thus his intial goal that was to save himself is shifted to a new goal, that being to hopefully make his friend and thoae around him happy.
I really like how apathetic mc is in past life, he has sex, yes, and he knows that he is a dick, but deosnt admit it. Its only when he goes through his life again does he actually start to develope empathy. We see the contrast between his two characters during his flashbacks to his 30 yr old self while being 17 yrs old. Back then, he had sex with everyone, didnt make any lasting connections, and in the process hurt alot of people. However now, what started as his goal for survival, has evolved to trying to ensure he does not make the same choices as he did in the past, as he is able to see how his actions had dramatically impacted the lives around him. His bonds become much stronger and honestly i like it
From a semi dick person, who was apathetic, yet didnt look down towards people, to a genuine guy, who has empathy towards people
The ending, it will satisfy alot of people, but tbh, it did feel rush for the chapters that were before it, like the 3 chapters prior, regardless good manga

I read this in one go cause it's short and it good totally worth the time.So the whole story isn't about the romance but rather a redemption and realization. This story is about how to escape death, for awhile.
If you're here for mc getting laid

then don't expect much cause he just save Yoshino and they both escape early death and they weren't even in a romantic relationship.

It starts out really well, but that ending. I mean, I guess it could be seen as a happy ending, but it's left open ended for no real reason other than "THE FUTURE CAN CHANGE AT ANY TIME OOOOOO." Which considering all the happens felt a little stupid.
It lost steam in those last 2 chapters which sucks because I really enjoyed this. That's why it only gets a 9/10.

After Rika leaves, (which I'm unsure if it was just a butterfly effect or she still gets pregnant and has the abortion, that was kinda unclear) she doesn't show up to the same college as she did in the first timeline. Kazuya doesn't see her for 14 years. It shows at the end, him saving her from death, but gets stabbed. It would have been nice to get some more indication to what will become of their relationship just because of all the bullshit they go through. I mean, it's clear they like each other still at the end, but that's no real indication. I mean it shows Masaki (the would be murderer) and Soutome get together which made sense that they would develop something considering they were always confiding in each other about Kazuya and Rika. It felt like this could have used 1 more chapter. I mean the Masaki who could go off the rails and kill you at anytime gets a happy ending, but the guy who gives up sex and goes through all this shit to save this girl changing her life for the better gets a vague sendoff?
It lost steam in those last 2 chapters which sucks because I really enjoyed this. That's why it only gets a 9/10.

Also would have liked to see what became of the whole Reiko and Kazuya's brother thing. Did she stay with the asshole who hits her?
Would have been outstanding if not for the pacing

On the pro side, i don't have much to add : the second chance plot device, if not very original, doesn't go against the development of the drama but instead gently supports it ; I thought the protagonists were not overdoing things when interacting, especially Yoshino's reactions to Kasuya's nosiness.
It's hard to say why exactly, but to me this title felt a lot like Onani Master Kurosawa (the art style, the anti-romantic climax, the resolution ?).
It is just a pity that the pacing, and the length of Ore Ga Doutei were a bit off given the story. I would have appreciated if the author had had more space and time to smoothen out the dynamics of the characters' feelings (essentially how they come to love / stop loving one another). I also found the whole thing about protecting one's virginity a bit awkward, at least in the beginning. And, oh yes,
NB : i changed the genre from "shounen" from "seinen". I checked other sites and "similar" titles and it's 50-50, so please bear with it or feel free to reset it if you think this is wrong.

i love time travel manga. i think this is done in a good way where the protagonist try as hard as he can to change his future. this reminds me of playing VN and trying to avoid bad ending. there is no convoluted plot or mind blowing things happening, but what makes this manga great for me is the constant fear of death the protagonist have, that make me also feel very affected by the expressions of his murderer.
Good, until...

... The absolute last moment when
Yeah, it was foreshadowed all throughout the story, but given everything that was changed in the present it came right out of left field. It was ultimately a contrived attempt at injecting last-minute drama that wasn't even necessary.
Otherwise this is a decent read. While some say it could've been longer I think the length is just sufficient, although a volume's worth of chapters in between could probably smoothen events and the interactions between characters.

There have been far, far worse rushed endings I have read, but this could have used more development. I don't mean that this manga should have adopted the strategy of The World God Only Knows and gone for 100+ chapters, but it could have added more depth in its story with maybe 10 or 12. All in all, though, it's a fine, unique story that's worth a read.
Loved it!

As the subject line says - loved it.
Characters more or less decent expect for Masaki. The part of him going from best friend to a murderer could be done better, because I'm not buying it.
About the story, liked it a lot. Kazuya's actions after reincarnation seem rather out of place though, when it gets revealed, that
Drawings were okay. Liked how Kazuya's conversations with his consciousness were done - simple yet effective. Characters old and young selves - pretty much the same, wishing they weren’t.
The manga is rather short, easy to go through in one go.
Rating doesn't reflect anything, I just like to give 10 left and right because... why not?

he knew Yoshino's time and place of death.
You can justify it by his memories of the future life being hazy after time leap, but I'm not buying it as well. It could have been done better. Lastly, author could explore his reasons for redemption a bit more.Drawings were okay. Liked how Kazuya's conversations with his consciousness were done - simple yet effective.
