Description

Since the beginning of time ninjas have been regarded as people with great skill and power, the Blazing NinjaMan (Shinobi Mantaro) is one such young man. There is only one problem, the era of the ninja has come and gone. How can Shinobi consider himself a ninja in modern day Japan (1990s) and survive the daily rigors of high school life.

This wasn't as amazing as the author's previous absolutely-over-the-top gag manga, Blazing Transfer Student, mostly due to being really rushed at the end. But it's still pretty great, in particular in its first two volumes. There's just something lovely about an author who is so totally aware of shounen tropes and how to subvert them all the time.
