Description
In public, Umaru Doma appears to be the perfect high school student: hard-working, refined, and totally responsible. But the minute she gets home to her older brother Taihei--and dons her famous hamster hoodie--she devolves into the ultimate bratty little sister! She’s happy to roll around all day in an otaku cloud of games and junk food while her exhausted older brother takes care of everything in the house. In this hilarious comedy about family, friendship, and the nonsense we put up with (from the people we love), Umaru and Taihei will find a way to make it work!

a great series about a reliable brother and a selfish two-face sister with no wincest. The comedy mostly revolve around the sister doing otaku thing and being a pain in her brother side, while also making the cutest chibi ever. only bad thing is that the chapters are really short, but it doesnt stop it from having great moment along with a little bonding between the siblings.
In the end it is funny, extremely cute, and sometimes very heartwarming.

alphaGulp is trying to troll the living crap out of everyone reading his review.
This is NOT Oreimo (season 2). It's a slice of life manga that details the relationship between two siblings, NO romance involved. There's love, yes, but not between man and woman but onii-chan and imouto.
It's a legitimate, sweet piece of work that is read for the comedy/cute factor.

Unlike other reviews here, I didn't find the brother-sister relationship in Himouto particularly incestuous, even in comparison with just normal manga. Himouto! Umaru-chan is definitely not for people who like incest. There is nearly zero fan-service, the little sister is not sexualised (though side-characters, like her friend who has a crush on the brother, are a bit), 80% of the pages are devoted to chibified gags about the little sister's laziness... In all honesty, the review below is either very mistaken, trolling or just overly sensitive to any brother-sister relationships, which leads to a knee-jerk reaction.
Himouto is a rare-ish brother-sister gag manga without incestuous undertones; the sister's and brother's relationship is mostly a guardian-child one.
Mainly the story is just cute. Not laugh-out-loud funny (at least until now), but I don't particularly mind spending the time reading it.
