Horrible.. I mean horrible what happens. I didn't like this actually. Not because of the drawings, though they were really bad, but because the story talked about people and teens problems but was vulgar about it. Not that I am one really to complain about something being vulgar, but I thought it could have been handled a lot more elegantly.

Degrassi for example
I mean I see where he was going with this.. just seemed like a lot. Also it wasn't very consistent. Well.. maybe it's just not my type of story, but others have liked it.. so it's just my opinion.

From Helter-Skelter so I moved on and read this one.

I liked it too because of its psychological sides. However, it wasn't as good as Helter-Skelter. Probably because here she put some endings to it. Okazaki is better with the cliffhanger so... It's just purely subjective my rating. But if it's not that, this would deserve a 10.

this was so good,so intriguing and so satisfying
i love love loved it
this is one unforgettable read
i think, somehow, everyone can relate to the characters
i especially liked the main character, she was characterized perfectly
this is a story of confusion, loss and ultimately lust

be warned though, contains a little nudity and violence

oh and, contrary to what others may think,i really liked the art

Okazaki captures well the ups and downs of teen angst and their emotional development without trivializing it. Although the art is not the prettiest to look at, it's style conveys and enhances the story he weaves. Highly recommended if you're not looking for a frivolous read.
